Chef/ owner Alex Lyle, trained at the Hotel InterContinental
in Sydney and then worked at exclusive Canberra venues such as The Commonwealth
Club and Hyatt Hotel Canberra. Upon leaving Canberra, Alex was part of
the opening team of Vie Restaurant and Bar at Versace hotel on the Gold
Coast. |

The menu on offer is concise, yet offers a good range to choose from. It features succulent seafood and tender and full-flavoured meat dishes such as rack of lamb and fillet mignon. Vegetarian and coeliac dietary requirements are also well catered for. Desserts are delicious, including Espresso panna cotta and traditional favourites like our Rich Belgian chocolate mousse. Variety is important to Alex, changing items regularly to make the most of seasonal produce. Using top quality ingredients, he serves simple food with great flavour. most recently working with Hyatt Hotel Canberra for eight years. Positions
held include of Communications Manager and Director of Business Development.

We are also members of the Montville Chamber of Commerce and Blackall Range Business Tourism Association (BRBTA). Our most recent award is Best Restaurant/Cafe Montville 2008 by the Montville Chamber of Commerce.
